Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of the Darts Scorer mobile application (the “App”) and this website (the “Site”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, or by submitting feedback on the Site, you agree to these Terms.
1. Use of the App
The App is provided for personal, non-commercial use as a scoreboard for the game of darts. You may use it at home, in clubs, or in any setting where you would use a paper scoresheet. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, resell, or redistribute the App beyond what the Apple App Store or Google Play terms permit.
2. “As is” — no warranty
The App and the Site are provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that they will be uninterrupted, bug-free, accurate, or fit for any particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the App or the Site.
3. Subscriptions and in-app purchases
Paid features (“Pro”) are offered as an auto-renewing subscription. Subscriptions are sold, billed, and managed by Apple or Google. The terms that apply to your subscription are those of the Apple Media Services and Google Play agreements, as applicable. We do not duplicate those terms here and we are not a party to the payment transaction.
To cancel a subscription, use Apple’s Settings → Subscriptions on iOS or the Google Play Store’s Subscriptions screen on Android. Cancelling stops the renewal; you retain access until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies.
4. Legacy purchases (iOS)
Users who previously purchased the older Lite or Full in-app products on iOS retain access to the features those purchases granted (the “Classic” tier), at no additional cost, for as long as Apple continues to recognise the purchase on the device. Classic is available only to users whose purchase receipts can be verified on-device; it is not sold, gifted, or transferable.
5. Advertising
Free-tier users see advertising provided by Google AdMob. By using the free tier you acknowledge that ads will be displayed and that AdMob’s own terms and privacy policy apply to the ad experience. Subscribers do not see ads.
6. Feedback you send us
When you send us feedback through the support form, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use that feedback to operate, diagnose, and improve the App and the Site. Do not submit confidential, proprietary, or sensitive personal information in the feedback form — we operate a small support inbox, not a secure intake system.
7. Changes to the App and these Terms
We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will change the “Last updated” date above when these Terms change.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. This does not deprive you of any consumer-protection rights that apply under the mandatory law of your country of residence.
